Expressing gratitude for health care associates at MedStar Health
The Power to Heal campaign is the annual opportunity for MedStar Health associates, board members, and volunteers to make a philanthropic gift and share a message of gratitude with a caregiver. As a friend of MedStar Health, we invite you to join our associates in supporting associate wellbeing initiatives.
With the support of our associates, Board members, and volunteers we have been able to grow our associate wellbeing efforts. Specifically, we have been able to:
- Create a peer support network
- Establish and enhance recharging stations at our entities
- Provide wellbeing kits to manage stress
- Hire resilience coaches and nurse wellbeing specialists
- Host associate appreciation events and fairs
- Continue wellness rounds
- Share mental health and wellness resources with our associates
- Expand digital resources on our website
- Host virtual events
- Participate in social wellbeing activities and team bonding
When you participate in the Power to Heal campaign, you are joining grateful patients and families, community partners, volunteers, and others who have chosen to support MedStar Health’s mission of caring for our patients, those who care for them, and our communities.
